HRT 1.4 (that means high resolution textures) is a remastered graphics modification for GTA: San Andreas (2004). Purpose of the mod — is to provide improved graphics with preservation of original game's atmosphere using remade textures that are maximum similar to the original ones by colours, contrast and other parameters, but made in really high definition; it also contains improved and fixed models and other features. Develpment of the mod is canceled.

Now it's time to back to development reports. This first new report on the site is small. As you know, section of city on which I working now, named SFe. And you remember that rocks in San Fierro through which we must swim in one of missions from Wu Zi Mu...

And these rocks now have new textures with resolution 1024x1024 pixels; I tried also to do impression of wet surface.

Secretly tell you what I planned add reflections to the models, but they look bad and I left this idea.

Cities and places from GTA: San Andreas in real life

And some video for you. This is not a video from the mod, but too interesting. When I did video for the April Fool's Day (HRT 1.4 on Unreal Engine 4) for HRT 1.4 mod, I found a lot of interesting videos captured by users in which showed exactly places and cities, that we see in GTA: San Andreas game: houses and trams in San Francisco (San Fierro in game), views of Los Angeles (Los Santos), Santa Monica pier (Santa-Maria in the game), main street in Las Vegas (Las Venturas). I collected again most interesting fragments in this little video. I'm sure that many know the places that we seen in the game.

P.S. Some time ago I created a new HRT 1.4 userbar (or, if be more correct, bigbar), you can put it into your sign on sites or forums. Second one – is an old, first bigbar. In future I plan to open page on this site with some materials for community like userbars.
